I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler (4 cyl) with 120,000 miles. This past weekend I was getting gas at the local station...as I tried to start the Jeep, it would not turn over, not a sound. I tried to jump the Jeep but was not successful. I tried to push start, again, not successful. I thought maybe my Battery had gone bad so I pulled it out and had it tested. It was good. I left the jeep at the gas station for (6) hours, then returned. I jump into the Jeep and it turned over just fine. It worked fine for the next several days then it happened again. No sound, not even a click...it seems like maybe the ignition switch is getting hot, or maybe a loose wire.

Thanks for any light on this subject.

You'll just have to catch it when the problem is present and start checking all the power supply wiring from the battery, through the fuses to the ignition switch. If you have no headlights either, concentrate on the engine compartment.
