As soon as i put my car in drive the fuel pump relay clicks about 3 times and the car stalls out. when I turn the key on i can here the fuel pump running and it will usually sit and idle in park. I can also usually go to reverse or neutral with no problems. I can put the car into neutral or park and it will usually start right back up. I replaced the fuel pump relay and that made no difference. Any suggestions or a wiring diagram would really help me out. thank you!

It sounds like a faulty neutral safety switch on the transUnsure

it is also acting up in park sometimes. the neutral safety switch prevents it from cranking and it cranks just Fine. my fuel pump isnt always running when it should. what triggers the fuel relay to make the pump run?
