1993 cavalier rs fuel pump relay location
Can you use a jumper with the relay off to see if the relay is bad or not? My wires are red/black, brown/white, green/white, and green. car died and will not start, it does turn over and the plugs have fire. But can't hear the fuel pump come on when key is turned on. It is a new pump, about a year old. It got to where it would die when hitting a bump, like someting was shorting or something, but it would re-start.

You can test the fuel pump by jumping out the relay but it won't tell you anything about the relay itself. Those aren't the right colors for the fuel pump circuit so you're probably at the wrong relay.
You're better off to test for power arriving right at the pump connector. It only powers for 2 seconds when the key is turned on.
