1993 FORD ECONOLINE Cruise doesn't work

Full size conversion van, cruise light does not come on when button depressed. I assume its something electrical. Checked fuses all good that are related to cruise. Something rattling in steering wheel.

Loose nut behind the wheel? Sorry, couldn't let that one go. Since the cruise controls are on the steering wheel, that is a bit suspicious. If this has an air bag, you want to follow specific procedures, but I'd want to pull the wheel and take a look. May turn out to be a clockspring or multi-function switch.
