Hi, this is my first post. And, I think it is a doozie. I was driving along in my 1991 Honda Accord. I was cranking my tunes at a pretty good volume when my radio turned off...just for a second. It then turned back on. It did this for another two times. I thought my audio head unit was failing. But, after the third time, I noticed my speedometer dropped. Now, I had an issue earlier where my cruise control was just turning off while I was driving. So, I engaged my cruise control to see if it was working. It was, but I noticed the "cruise control light" was flickering. About a minute later my car just turned off. It was completely dead. There was no electricity to be had in the car. I glided to a stop on the side of the road and tried to restart...and nothing. After about a minute of contemplating on what to do, I tried to restart the car. And guess what, it started. This was about a week ago. I've had no re-occurences of this issue since then. Can anybody tell me what may have been the culprit? At first, I thought it might have been caused by my stereo pulling too many amps (because I was playing it very loud), but my amplifier only draws 20 amps. I am a little mystified. Your help and input will be greatly appreciated.

Ignition switches are pretty notorious in those. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
