Such a simple thing! Wht not mark #1 on the distributer cap? It has a one direction only Distributer Cap setting! Is #1 across from alternator or to the left of it?
Thanks for any help you could give!

Looks like someone got some new colors for Xmas.... looks like ya went out of the lines there a little on #3, either that or ya got a headgasket issue going on.
