Mad
1990 TOYOTA CAMRY 2.0L 4CYL. I am at the end of myself. I have had no success in figuring out what in the world is wrong with my driver shoulder strap. Over 5 months ago it decided to stop going forward. Through checking this and that, the strap can be manually moved forward using the gear in the motor assembly. When the door is closed it will strap you in. That is all it will do. I cannot get it to go forward on its own like it should for nothing. I have read on the web to replace the motor. I had it checked out and there is no indication of a short or electric current detectable when ignition is off. I was told to look for the pink wire-indicating that this is the problem, possibly a breakage or fray in the wire jacket. There is no pink wire-just pink-I was told to look in the wire bundle in the door. That bundle comes from the driver side fuse kick panel and ends in the door, but no wire goes to the seat belt motor from it. I have no idea what relay or fuse or anything of that nature, looks like, nor where they are located. I am tired of going everywhere and getting no where.
