Possible faulty ignition switch? You'll have to do some electrical checks at the switch to confirm that.

I got a brand new ignition switch in it right now and it still does it. thanks for an idea tho

Did you change the ingniton switch then the problem started or changed to try and fix this problem?

I Changed the ignition switch thinking the problem was in the switch. but thinking its not the switch anymore

That's not going to do a thing for the electrical circuit. That's not the switch. It's just a lock.

The ignition switch looks like this and is mounted to the steering column tube.
