1990 Ford Ranger turn signel is messed up.	Sign In

I have a 1990 Ford Ranger

When I turn left only the back light comes on and blinks. To turn it off I have to move the switch like I am turning right. Moving the switch to the right gives me nothing. The hazards work fine, the front and back lights up and blinks. I was told it couldn't be the switch because of the fact that only the back light comes on and if it was just a bad switch both the front and back light for the left side would come on. This problem turned up after a Ice storm we had last month.

>>To turn it off I have to move the switch like I am turning right<< That statement leads me to believe the multi-function switch is bad. You may have some burned out bulbs, but they wouldn't cause the switch to malfunction like that.

Can't be the bulbs since they allwork and blink when the ha zards are turned on.
