Are they even on the same circuit? Take the bulb out of dome light and see it that helps. Radio may have a separate fuse too,

The "dome light" is on the rear view mirror, it fell off the windshield, the wires touched each other then the fuse blew and the radio stopped working. This is a used car, so im not sure.

Did fuse blow again? Chase wires back to where they could short - fix or seal the off as you wish,

There are 3 fuses associated with the radio

#9 -- 10 amp
#14- 5 amp
#16 - 4 amp (light)

As Tom suggested, make sure the short isn't still present and blowing the fuses as fast as you put them in.

Thanks for the help. Turns out it blew the fuse for the dome light and the radio, I sealed off the wires to the dome light, replaced both fuses and turned the radio on.

Not sure how all those are related?? Some dome lights are empowered constantly and switches in door jams can get messed up. By that I mean they have power and opening door adds ground and if it could do that to another circuit it would blow fuses??
