'88 GMC pickup, 350, 5 spd, 185,000 miles. When I turn on either turn signal, it flashes slow and the radio lights flash with it. When I apply the brakes, the flash speed increases until the brakes are released. If I have the headlights on, they won't flash at all. Have checked fuses and replaced bulbs. The dash lights quit working a long time ago but until recently, everything else worked fine.

This smacks of a ground problem. Try adding ground from engine to body then body to dash metal with jumper wire. Look for a broken ground strap and replace or clean it up if you can find a bad one. They put them all over the place - some just eyelet end braided wire. It might be easier if the jumper works and nothing OE found wrong to prudently add a ground strap to the part that needs it, T
