Makes it difficult to have fuel reading. I've checked the voltage from the battery to various connector wires to the Fuel Date Center (FDC) and they are all good. I even replaced the FDC and observed with power on, the bulbs in the FDC lights up. Clearly, power is finding its way to the FDC. The battery terminals have been checked as well as voltage so i'm good on power. I want to change the Body Computer Module (BCM) since it sends processed data to the FDC. I want to know if i'm on the right path. What part does this component adjacent to the battery(grey in color) do? is it in any way related to the instrument cluster electrical system? Not for long though. Most said to switch system off when hoisting as well. Leaks would possibly make it run longer or constantly. Alone that shouldn't be messing with the cluster?
