12V highpower SMD LED bulbs leads to problems... Sign In

I'll try to make this short. Bought 2 LED wedge bulbs to replace the 2 already in my rearview mirror. They're 12V highpower SMD bulbs it says. I disconnected 1 of the wires to the battery when I put them in. When I tried to turn my car back on, wouldn't crank or anything. Took battery to autozone and battery was "low" they said. Now that its charged, put it back in the car. But now, nothing electrical works when the keys are not in the ignition and switched to the battery. Meaning, now my remote to unlock/lock it doesn't work, lock/unlock button inside the car doesn't work unless you have the keys in the ignition and turned. And before when I would have the door open, the little "door open" light would be on by my gauges, and the lights would be lit up on the rearview mirrors. What do you think is going on?

I have a 2004 Eclipse GS(2.4L), 58k miles or so

Sounds like you blew a fuse. Check all fuses and replace as necessary.
