2004 ODYSSEY LX Automatic Transmission:
I want to share and discuss my Car problem with the ODY club members .I shall highly appreciate all feedback.

1-GEAR SHIFT LOCKS (No Gear Indicator Light/No Parking Light Appearing)
2-While Driving .The brake PEDAL Jams.Becomes hard like stone. The car shakes and vibrates and engine uses more power to srive against jammed brakes. This resolves by pulling out the brake pedal switch but the All system related with Cruise Control becomes inactive.
I have read the CODE. It is 5.
On computer , It gives " PFINH Engine signal failure.
already spent more than 300 $ on diagnostics and troubleshooting but no use. the problem recure again and again. Now the problem # 1 is more severe. The Gear locks for hours and hours . I get late for office and family also suffers.A smile by heart and trust in God helps but how long???
Can anybody discuss and resolve my problem.I will bethank ful for all the feed back.
Regards,
Dr.AQEEL F. DURRANI

One thread on the same problem is already confusing enough so took out the other two.

What on Earth are you trying to say? About what I get out of that garble is the brakes don't release, vehicle shakes wouldn't be a surprise but you continue driving this way even know cruise control doesn't work which it wouldn't if brakes are applied.

That does a code 5 mean in any language?
You've spent $$ having this looked at with no comments so suggest trying mechanics next visit if none could suggest anything.

"Gear locks for hours and hours" you said.
Dr. Aqeel F. Durrani,
I suggest you try harder to explain what is going on and if any of it is close not to use this vehicle till fixed.

Understand if English is not your primary language that it can be difficult to communicate. If so get some help as this isn't enough to suggest much yet and site is set up for English only.

Please do not post your email address for your own sake as this is in open view to anyone browsing the site. You should get a notice of a reply has been made and a place to click to come back and we can try to help with this,

T
