Recently purchased an 08 Saturn Vue with the 4 cylinder engine. Have not had any problems until last night when I tried to start the engine, nothing happened. The lights came on and the radio, interior lights, heater etc all worked. When I turned the switch to the start position nothing happened. There was no clicking or slow turning of the engine, just nothing. Are there any fuses I should check? Could it be the starter be bad even though it shows no evidence of trying to engage? Please provide any directions of what the problem could be

Have you tried starting it in Neutral or moving the shifter around? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I'm afraid this circuit is a bit more complicated than you are equipped for. It uses a relay to operate the starter but this relay is controlled by the Body Control Module. Without a high tech scan tool you won't know what is working and what isn't.
