07 dodge charger shuts off while idling

My 07 dodge charger 6 cyl. 2.7 has been acting up, basically ever since i got it, about 4 months ago, when i am driving slow or in parked position, it sometimes shuts off. It has done this randomly over the 4 months, maybe 10 times. Also my electronic throttle control light(the lightning bolt) turns on sometimes, and my engine thermostat sometimes doesnt work. Does anyone know why?

Have the computer deep scanned and post any numbers here.

The P0406 is an EGR code that could mean the EGR is sticking open which could cause an idle stall. The other 2 codes are temperature related. It looks like you need a new thermostat.

Need a high end scan tool that can gather manufacture trouble codes to see why the electronic throttle control is acting up also.

I put a new egr in and the car starting sputtering and running badly, also the brakes are very hard to engage. Could it be because i used carborator cleaner for the throttle body?

Might want to recheck your work and be sure you didn't create a vacuum leak. You could also have a defective egr valve(stuck open) if you don't find a leak.

Sounds like you knocked the brake booster hose off or just forgot to put it back on.

I found the problem.the hose to the egr came off. My car is running great now. Thanks for the help everyone!
