I have a 03 Kia optima 6 cyl. with 115000 mi. my tail lights dash lights and power windows do not work. I have checked fuses and replaced tail light bulbs. I also replaced 40 amp power window fuse. all fuses were good. where do I go now?

did you check the fuses by pulling them out visually or did you check for power on both sides with a test light?

Hazards or rear defroster work? Do you have a volt meter/12 volt test lamp and know how to use it? Is there any aftermarket equipment installed? Was there any recent repair work done prior to this happening? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

no repair prior although it has done alot of sitting. We had trouble with the battery draining every other day last winter every few in summer. We have not been having that problem for a few months, after replacing battery, but the tails dash and windows have not been working. May be all related? I have a volt meter, not real sure on proper use.

If the hazards and rear defroster don't work also, the ETAC (body control module) module isn't operational. If you checked every fuse, your going to have to take it to a shop for electrical diagnosis. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
