2003 Pontiac Grand AM 4cylinder Automatic
So i pulled the interior our of my wifes car my daughter had spilled quite a bit of milk on the carpet and it had mil-dewed so i pull the seats the center console and the back seat out and after its all cleaned i let it dry i had to move the vehicle with no interior so i start it up and move it then the interior dries and i put it all back together and its like the key and shifter are stuck i pulled the center consle back out and theres a cable that is connected to the lockcylinder that seems stuck When i removed the interior all that i disconnected was the connectors that go to the front seat. It acts like i have the wrong key in it maybe tripped the security any help would be awesome
i have disconected the cable that runs to the lock cylinder and the stick shift will move i also let it sit over night with the battery disconnected and it still wont let the key turn any ideas maybe bad neutral saftey switch ??? please help my wife is getting mad at me
