02 buick century low beams stopped working

02 Buick century 3.1 unknown mileage
one day I went to work and my head lights were working fine. when I left work they suddenly wouldn't come on I tried the high beams and they did work so I was able to make it home and drive at night since. I put in new bulbs and they still didn't work so I checked the fuses and they were all fine. what should I check next?

If you understand electrical circuits, have a 12v test light and know how to read a wiring diagram, you can troubleshoot the circuit to determine where you are losing power.
