Hey, I've googled car stereo repairs and there's so much to sift through. Can anyone provide me a link or advice on this: My car got stolen recently and has been found but the ignition box had been ripped out and the car stereo no longer works. I don't know what the problem is and I'd like to know what it is before I bite the bullet and pay for the dough to repair the stereo. Thank you to anyone who replies :)

Start at checking the radio fuse with a testlight. Turn the key to ACC and to Run. If the test light glows bright, the problem is either the radio or the wiring to it after the ignition switch. If the light doesn't glow, then you can suspect the problem related to the theft. Either way, you are going to need a wiring diagram for your vehicle. Steve
