Basically I was driving and turned my radio on, it was working and then suddenly, the radio turned off and i cannot get it back on. The whole dash on the front is out of power basically. At night and i put the lights on, the dash lights dont come on, therefore meaning there is no power to the radio. How do i sort it out, i looked around and saw something about a new fuse? but ye im really not sure about how the radio works and what fuses do. Can someone give me suggestions to rectify the issue. Thanks so much.

Certainly test all fuses even some underhood - with a test light not just looks. You don't have to take them out and shouldn't to test. If one when that circuit should be ON lights on one side and not the other it's bad. Then if all checks out make sure that metal of dash is grounded. There's a chance (small) that items are grounded by removable metal so find power for the test light and it should light when touching plain metal if grounded. Could be something else all together but you can at least rule out the basics, T
