Radio won't trun on after ressetting can decoder

Hi all,
I recently bought a used Vauxhall/Opel Astra 2010.
It came with an upgraded Radio to Pioneer MVH-AV290BT.
the steering wheel controls were not working so I tried to check it and I found that the CAN decoder used (Autoleads CP2-UNI) was not configured correctly, When I followed the manual to match the dip switches it didn't really make a difference.
After a hard reset (by holding the programming button on it for a few seconds) it stopped working and so did the radio
after updating the SW on it, it started working and I configured it using the tool on the website and now it just flashes a faint amber and the radio still doesn't work at all.
Please guide me on what I screwed :) Also, I checked every single wire and everything looks in place, The radio receives the 12v ignition from the decoder so I assume that the problem is the decoder is not working so the radio is not starting but not sure tbh.
