I have a Honda S2000 (2004) and have a Bose stereo w/cd player. Lately when I've put a cd in to play, it'll play for about 3 minutes then stop. I take the cd out and it's hot to the touch as is the stereo itself. Does it possibly need a cleaning??

Sometimes there is a fan that is installed in units to keep them cool. Your system literally has a heat stroke when this fan isnt working. Your system is also sometimes cooled by the A/C ducting at the back of wiring. You will have to check whther or not you have a fan in your system, either by instruction manaul or website. If fan isnt working, take it to electronics specialist, cause all are different and I won't be able to walk you through it.

Yeah, clean it and test the components first. does it can work now? Supply many kinds of IC, laser pickup, mechanism, for CD, DVD....
