My car stereo sometimes does not work right away when my car starts, after the stereo stops working the only thing I can do to fix it is to unplug the wires, then reconnect them. This is an aftermarket pioneer stereo, so my first question is, does it not work because of the wiring or because of someother reason. I believe I might have connected the ground wire wrong because i did not connect it the fram, instead I connected it to the wiring harness is this correct or not. ____________________ red bumps

It could be either the stereo or the wiring. When you unplug the wiring you might be moving the wires around so they make a connection again or by unplugging it you could be resetting a fault that is in the stereo causing it to work again. I would check wiring make sure all your connections are tight and clean if that is ok I would suspect the stereo it bad.
