01 Dodge Ram 1500 Stero Wiring Problems...	Login - Sign Up

I have a 01 Dodge Ram 1500 single cab truck, V6 Automatic. I need to hook up the original stereo. When I bought the truck it didn't work and I pulled it and found out that the previous owner had an after market stereo and never hooked the original back up. I then went to the dealer and bought the wiring harness of it, but the wires are not color coded. I need a diagram to know what wires to hook up. Anybody have one or know where to get one. Preferably online or free. Thanks

Also, your public library will have a manual with wiring diagrams. If you are near a Best Buy or Car Toys, most of them have repair (adapter) kits.

If you go back into the dealership and ask them for a wiring diagram, they should give you one as it should of come with harness. Also, the the VIN# for your vehicle and get the pin code from them at the same time, so when the radio is in and working, you will be able to unlock it.

i have a dodge ram 1500 (1998) and im replacing the stock radio deck but i looked through all of the manuals and it doesnt tell me what what wires go to what?! Unsure
