(Please Help) Door speakers wont work

96 dodge stratus SE I got the car with a aftermarket receiver but the volume was broke the switch was so i got a new one and while i was doing that i switched all the speakers out with new after market ones and i got the rear(back) and very front(dash) speakers to work the middle(door) speakers wont work i can plug in the old aftermarket stereo in and it all the speakers works including my middle ones (door) why wont the new one put sound out of the middle ones (door) Please Help

I'm definitely NOT a stereo guy, but...I've heard that the Infinity (stock) speakers are of a different resistance value than most of the aftermarket (8 ohm) speakers. Loren SW Washington

From what I can gather, your stereo is not built to put out for 3 pairs of speakers. You should have a standard 4 wire setup from back of unit. If you have spliced the rear wires to make back and middle mount, it will not have the power to drive them. you need an amplifier to pull this off.

ok well that could be true because the speakers worked with the old aftermarket stereo but rite now i have 2 150w speakers running on the 4 standered wires i tied them in to each other and they seem to work but now that i have the old aftermarket stereo in they dont work

Hey mate try getting a stereo that is 40x4 Watt or with a larger RMS rating than the one you have at the moment. Might save you an amp.

BUT I ALREADY HAVE AN AMP ITS FACTORY COULD THAT BE THE REASON Y EVERYTHING ELSE WORK FINE JUSS NOT DOOR SPEAKERS

You will have to work backwards from scratch. Plug RCA leads into unit and then run your wires from your amp. Maybe the amp does not have enough power to run the extra speakers you have in it. Being factory they are build for optimum 4 speaker use. Throwing 6 speakers in the mix could kill it.

the car has dash door and deck speakers ok its all factory juss went to go replace the factory speakers with aftermarket ones no modifications accept with aftermarket speakers
