To whom it may concern: This is my first post. I have a 1997 Trans Am WS6. The problem i have is around the rear end, that once i have driven the car for a while it sounds like loud popping, gears grinding together. it only does it when i am either turning left or right. if i drive straight, there is no sound and drives just fine. when i come to a stop and turn either left or right, it sounds like loud crackling, popping in and around the rear end. i have looked under car and can't find anything loose or cracked. i have replaced the rotors and brakes, also just put in 410.1 gears about a year ago. the whole rear axle has all new bearings. the weird thing is that when i first start driving the car it does just fine weather i turn left or right, no noise. it usually take about 20 to 30 miles before the noise starts and like i said only when i am making turns.

just a note, i have taken the tires of and the pumpkin cover. the gears look brand new and i could not find any wear on them, the axle's are tight and when i spin them everything is nice and quiet. no loose play. i also checked the drive shaft and it is solid with no loose play. I AM STUMPED. can you help.
Thank You,
Tigerpaw
