Sign In 03 chevy sliverado, 84000mi there is a loud popping noise when i turn or when i hit a bump, and it can be felt under the floor board. it doesnt happen all the time, just some times, but more than not. ive had a few ppl say that its either my torsion bar bracket or my cv joints. is there any more info needed? If it makes the noise without turning and just hitting 'bumps' I'd rule out CV joints. You'll want to take a close look at all of the suspension. Ball joints, brackets, ect. Sign In yes, it does this in 2wd. and sometimes no matter how small the turn or the bump it just makes a pop noise.
