Some slight noise could be normal but if constant hissing it probably has a bad power brake booster.

See if when vehicle isn't running if you get one more power assisted feel then pedal will firm up with subsequent trys.

There's hose to manifold vacuum, a check valve on the booster and the booster is right behind master cylinder. All must be intact,

hissing is very loud inside truck as brake is applied. if car is running and brake is pumped several times it firms up like the booster does not work. but will change booster anyway. thank you.
