grinding and rattling noise in front Sign In

I have a 98 plymouth breeze about 140,000 miles on in. It ran fine until I put new brakes and tires on it. I had the rotors turned instead of new. Well after replacing old, It now makes a rubbing noise as if I need new brakes, so my dad took off the plastic guard and fire walls thinking my new tires could be rubbing it. And now it makes a rattling noise when you first start it or put it in park to shut it off, it feels as if it is coming from the glovebox area and under my gear shifter. It is an automatic. Never had any problems before, car is well maintained.

Check to make sure the backing plates aren't hitting the rotors and put the fenderwells back in.............
