I have a 1996 Ford Taurus. I just recently discovered two things. One: when I start the car there is a sound like a fan flicking paper in the engine. This sound comes and goes as I am driving. Two When I turn the steering wheel while driving around a corner or pulling into a parking space etc there is a sound in the front wheel well that I am turning to that sounds like the tire is rubbing on the plastic wheel well lining. I have heard a bearing go before and it sounds nothing like that. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about what it could possibly be. I have checked to make sure that there is nothing rubbing the onlly thing that I could think that it might be is a CV or something. any ideas? anything would help. I know the obvious answer would be to sell it cuz taurus' are crap but it's my gf's car and she likes it so I would like to find out whats wrong and fix it for her but I am at a loss!!!!! thanks a bunch
