this might be normal, i'm not sure if i remember it doing this before tho..but i just installed heater core in my 98 grand am gt.
when you turn the key forward to the position where the lights are on and the radio plays, something under the hood clicks really fast (doesnt stop, just goes til i turn the key back to off) thanks.

There is two things that i know wiil make that noise. a relay or a circuit braker clicking real fast. make sure you didnot pinch any wires putting it back together may be a short circuit. gluck.
