So I had KW coilovers on my VW 2007 Jetta 2.5L, I took them off and placed back the original manufacturers suspension. Which is in perfect condition, so I know they are not making any noise. I now notice that when I drive all 4 wheels make a weird clicking noise, it only happens when I first start driving, or when driving slowly over bumps. The noise is not constant, its only at certain times. The mechanic told me that the reason for this is because the coilovers were harder then the manuf. suspension so some parts which i forgot what they are called suffered from this, so now its making this noise... He told me its possible to replace but the ones on there are still good so I shouldnt, and that I should ignore the noise.... but its really annoying ... anyone got a tip or advice? not sure what i should do, and does anyone know what these parts are called, so I can look them up online?
