I have a 03 Durango 4x4 it was making loud grinding noise drivers side front after inspecting I noticed a busted boot on cv axle I replaced the whole axle and hub after that the noise is still there what could be the problem personal info deleted

That noise is more likely a wheel bearing. Axles don't make noises like that.
