Hello, i need help! My Ford F-150 V8 has been making a very weird noise. It happens only when the vehicle is in motion. It isnt consisitent. It was every once in awhile now it almost every day. Its a very loud grinding, metal scrapping noise. When I come to a slow and then stop the noise stops. And it begins to make other weird noises when braking to a stop. Any ideas?

Your stated common denominator is "braking" so check the brakes. Really check them by removing the calipers and look at rotors and pads for more than just wear. Things like cracks, rust, color, uneven wear inside pad vs outside and compare left and right. Cracks or even a chunk of brake lining can make some wild noises, T
