Engine is making knocking sound

I have a Toyota T100 1994 3.0 Liter, 4x4. I was running on low oil, then the engine started to make a knocking sound and was driven for about 20 minutes. then when i got home i realized i had almost no oil left. We put in new oil, but the sound just gets worse the more I drive it. Is there any way we can save this car? If not. do you think someone would be willing to buy it for a good price? thank you

If you have oil in it and it's still making noise, it's too late.

Sure, it still has value. Depending on the condition, it may be worth putting a new motor in it.

ok great, and if i wanted to replace the parts myself, how much would you estimate? Would i need a completely new engine?

You need to get it analyzed first to find out how serious itr is but you're usually looking at a new motor.
