I have a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. I'm not sure of the engine size (its the largest we could get). It has 111,000 miles on it. While driving today (highway and local streets) I would suddenly hear a soft thunk (like driving over the small joints/bumps on concrete roads) and my car would start to decelerate, even though I hadn't changed the pressure of my foot on the gas pedal. It happen at 60mph on highway and at 30mph on a local road. My husband is out of town and I don't want to take the car to the dealer without having an idea of what may be wrong. Thanks for your time and help!
