Hi,

Wondering if you can help me, I have a puzzling noise occuring in my 97 Legacy Wagon. It sounds like it is coming from the dash and it is constant beeping 2 seconds apart. It will occur at random, and drives me crazy. I took it to a dealer and they weren't sure of what it was.

don 't know if i will help with this or not....\
not familier with subaru's but i know on the cars i am familier with ,there is usually a warning module (called different things on different makes) (like alarm module,chime module,multifunction module ..etc) that will chime when the lights are left on,key off door open,or,key left in ignition ,or safety belt not connected..etc...things like that..sounds like there may be an intermittent problem somewhere.
recently had a ford windstar with a bad ignition lock cylinder (worn,sloppy)friends car,broke,doesn't wanna spend money on it but wants noise to go away...lol...anyway,with hers she could mess with the key and hers would go away...\
had others with a faulty module itself....

just my thoughts....maybe one of the others has some knowledge of these....
