99 Toyota Avalon intermittent noise from front Sign In

Hello,
I have a 99 Toyota Avalon with 230K miles. I was getting a noise from the front end that I assumed was brake wear indicator sound. I had the brakes replaced about 4 weeks ago and the sound went away but it came back last night. I hear the sound at low speeds and it appears to briefly go away if I turn the steering wheel slightly to the right. After letting go of the wheel the sounds comes back immediately.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Mike

It depends on how the brake job was done. If they just slapped a set of cheap set pads on it without doing anything to the rotors, that wouldn't be surprising.

Brakes need to be one with quality parts as HT said. I'd be checking wheel bearings too,
