Grinding noise at front driver-side at slower speeds, mostly turning right, but also driving straight forward, until 20-25 MPH. Mechanic adjusted clamp on boot? And it didn't make noise for a week. Grinding sounds like a cable tangled in a spool, rubbing against it's self. Speedometer was temperamental then quit. Runs great, lots of acceleration and deceleration. Good breaks.

You should have your mechanic check that out again. Maybe the clamp your mechanic adjusted is out of adjustment again. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
