This tempo is makeing some funny noise when you drive it. its like a grinding in the area of the brakes but the pads are good and no groves in rotor. the noise is only on the drivers side of the car. when you push the brake pedal it bounces and the noise stops. i was told it was a wheel bearing but others say its not. any one able to help with this?

Well keep in mind this is an 1989, I'm sure it has alot of miles.
Does the noise change around corners?? Worse or better left or right turns??
Have you checked for wheel bearing endplay?? ( jack it up and wiggle the tire in and out from the top and bottom)
It should not move!!
