2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Rattle in Passenger Side Dash	Sign In

There is a rattle coming from the passenger side dashboard of my 2020 Grand Cherokee.
The rattle happens regardless of the hvac blower being on or off. Mostly happens when on bumpy-ish roads.
Sitting in the passenger seat makes it sound like its coming from the glove box.
I have:

taken internal glove box apart to check for loose parts
removed the blower fan - noise still occurs without blower fan
affixed the hvac internal intake pipe to ensure no movement
looked on the engine side, nothing moves that i can see or touch to make noise.

Took it to a repair shop and paid them $180 for them to tell me that there's nothing wrong and gaslit me by saying they couldnt hear anything.
I would LOVE some pointers on maybe what is going on to help fix this VERY annoying rattle.

You're going to have to do this the same way that we would have to. Remove the glove box completely and then go for a drive with a helper sitting on the passenger side. Once you find a road that triggers the sound the helper can try to track the noise down using his fingers touching around until something you touch stops the noise or at least you feel it.

I'm surprised they didn't take you on a test drive once the tech couldn't duplicate the noise. That was always the 1st thing I would do when I couldn't duplicate a concern (you would be surprised how often a noise that happens all the time doesn't happen when you/the tech take it out)

If you paid them $180, go back and tell them you want to go on the test drive to show the tech the noise!
