Corsa automatic has a rumbling sound when I press the accelerator, the sound only happens when initially accelerating. Last time it went to the garage they said the timing chain was a bit noisy (I know its common in corsa's), but before I get charged £700 is this noise consistent with the timing chain going or could it be something else?? Thank you

I doubt same car is sold to US where most of us are but not really necessary for this. Do follow any service intervals for timing belts/chains anyway noise or not. This could easily be just a bad engine/transmission mount allowing too much motion or exhaust parts also that can touch and make quite a noise. The later is more likely IMO, T
