I have just registered on this site for some help. I do not know anything about cars, except that I hate spending money to fix them. I was away on business for 1 week. When I returned, my heating/defrost fan no longer worked well. When I turn my fan on it makes a loud buzzing noise coming from the passenger side dashboard. The noise gets loader and intolerable as I turn the fan higher, however the air output does not increase. I do not want to pay to fix this if it is an easy thing to fix. Can someone give me guidance? Thanks.

It really seems like a new blower motor is in order. Some are a real pill to replace, T Ps: If you get there THINK as the nut for the squirrel cage may be reverse threaded
