You can try some "swaptronics " on this that might help. Pull the # 3 plug & swap it with #1(or the easiest plug you can find). Then swap the #3 wire with another one that is the same length(once again....easiest). Drive the car & then pull the codes again. Which ever cyl # comes up is the problem area. #1 is a bad plug, #5 (if thats where you put the wire) is a bad wire. If it stays at #3 then it's time to roll up your sleeves & go to work....(damn it!

One word of advise..... Don't clear the codes. On Fords, once you do that the misfire moniter won't run until it relearns the crank profile (and on Fords, that can take a while to set). If you have cleared them, then if your scanner is able, you will need to go into mode $06 & test 53 to find the misfire or drive it under the right condition to relearn the crank profile & I wouldn't recommend doing that with a misfire...........
