2000 Volvo S70 about 148,000- In great shape overall- I've stayed up with this car with maintenance.

I turn the car to the right and there is a noise from the right front wheel.
There was no incident leading up to the problem- no previous noises that I heard- I'm the driver of this vehicle, however, a couple of weeks ago a passenger said she thought the car was making a noise in the wheel area- I heard nothing. I drove it last night and heard nothing.
Looked under the car and did not notice anything wrong. I did not take a wheel off.
Brakes were replaced about one year ago.

Any ideas?

Can you describe this noise a bit? Everything to do with bearings and brakes needs to be inspected and CV joint perhaps. What does is sound like when it does it?
