2000 Honda Civic VP Noise When Car is OFF???

I have a 2000 Honda Civic VP (Value Package) with a 1.6L 4-Cyl engine with 102,000 miles. When the car is turned OFF, the car will make a buzzing noise that lasts about 3 seconds. This occurs every hour or so. I bought the car new and have never had any problems with it. There aren't any trouble lights that come on while the car is off or while it is running. There hasn't been any events or any preceeding indicators of any problems. This buzzing noise has actually been occuring for at least 6 years and is has not seemed to be a symptom of any bigger problems. The car has never been in an accident nor does it have any damage aside from a couple door-dings.
I thought I had grown used to hearing my car "talk" to me as I walk up to it in a parking lot or while it's sitting in my garage, but for some reason it's starting to get on my nerves.
Any ideas on what it could be?

hey, you must just check it out wether its only your car has the problem or it is with all the cars of this model, as you said you have bought it new, have you shown it in the servicing......
