1998 dodge caravan 3.0L
The van started making a noise that kind of sounds like a baseball card hitting bicycle spokes,except the noise is a lot louder.We checked under the van nothing is loose that could make a rattling sound.And nothing is hitting the fan.When you crank the van the noise is louder under the van,than it is under the hood.The noise is louder in park and neutral than it is in drive or reverse.Anyone ever have this problem?Any advice?

Guess: There may be an issue with the flex plate (aks - flywheel or ring gear) for the starter at transmission. May take a pro ear to determine corrective action. Best not to ignore this,
