I have a 1993 Ford Truck Ranger 4WD 3.0L MFI that is making noise when I get up to the speed of 60 MPH. It sounds like a Hum/Whine sound coming from the truck. I just replace the U joints that bolt to the transmission. What can be wrong going wrong? I drive 600 miles twice a week, need to find out what is wrong with it so I not setting on the side of the road. Thanks for your help.

They are called "funny noises" for a reason. Hard to describe from here but we try. Some common noises that come at speed are leaks in the windshield's rubber gasket. They can make a noise that is hard to pin point where it comes from. Only way I know is to use painter's tape snugly over the whole gasket area and if it stops - that's was it! Exhaust parts can make noise also. Tap on exhaust with a rubber hammer and see if that duplicates the noise. If the spoiler/air dam under the bumper (front) is damaged or missing that would be another source. Just some ideas, T
