What on Earth could I be doing wrong? I've done this many times so I"m not new to the procedure. BUT, the crush seals on the new calipers will not hold. The originals did not hold, nor will replacements that I have tried. The seals do not have grooves on them so they don't appear to be directional. I mean they don't hold at all. brake goes straight to the floor with very little resistance. Thanks a trillion for any assistance, It's down in the teens currently and dropping, I would love to minimize my number of trips out there to get this done.

That's why you replace the complete caliper in pairs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Are you talking about the copper washers that go between the brake hose and caliper? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Probably DS but post is so unclear it needs some response. I can't say in this case but too many DIYers are out there flucking things up big time to save a buck which they won't. A leak that bad should be a no brainer or don't touch brakes or a vehicle ever again! IMO? Tom
